Corpus Christi
Corpus Christi opened in St Andrews to the
public with heavy security and the riot police on standby.
After an off hand comment to the press by its co director
the cause was picked up by none other than Stephen Green the
pastor famous for protesting against ‘Jerry Springer
the Opera’.
Despite the protests Corpus Christi
had a very successful run at the Crawford Arts Centre and
received funding from several anonymous backers to take it
to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2005. The show received 4 starts
from Three Weeks.
