Women's Drama Group
Finally an all Women’s Drama Group comes to town!
Have you ever wanted to act? Maybe even been a little bit curious as to what it may be like? Well here is your chance to give it a go. Zuloo Productions, a company which has been running since 2001, have set up a women’s drama group that will run during the day for two hours every Wednesday starting from September 17th at 11am. The group will be held at JZ School’s new site (Lane 280 - No.12 Wu Kang Lu), which is a lovely space; there are also plans to run a group in Pudong at some point in the future. This drama group is for both the experienced and inexperienced actresses amongst us. The focus will be on having fun and working as a team doing something that we all enjoy.
The format of the group will be a series of workshops to get everyone into the groove and to learn some ‘acting techniques’. Following this and ensuring that everyone is comfortable we will start rehearsal on a production to perform to a small group as a community outreach project early next year.
There are several aims to the group. One is raising money for the community with the production early next year and hopefully future productions. (No one will be forced to be in this production but all are welcome to be in it!). Two, to work as a team. Three, to have fun and maybe discover that you could be the next Audrey Hepburn or Judy Dench!
